Voting by Indiana US House Members

Voting on the ADA Education and Reform Bill by Indiana House Members

Jackie Walorski (R)
Indiana 2nd District

Jackie Walorski, whose picture appears above made the headline section not for a positive reason but because she has consistently voted against the interests of the disabled and most other minorities.  Remember this at election time.

Our Organization, Advocacy of the Disabled, is located in Rep Walorski's district and Indiana and so we have included the voting of Indiana US House members on the regressive and anti-civil rights bill entitled ADA Education and Reform Bill.

If you think it was only Republicans who voted for this Ableist and anti-civil rights bill, think again.  Here are the results from the vote in the US House for the bill by Indiana Representatives which occurred on Febrary 15, 2018

The following Representatives voted for the anti-Disabled and anti-civil rights bill

  1.   Jim Banks (R) 3rd District
  2.   Susan Brooks (R) 5th District
  3.   Andre Carson (D) 7th Distict
  4.   Trey Hollingsworth (R) 9th District
  5.   Peter Visclosky (D) 1st District
  6.   Jackie Walorski (R) 2nd District

The following Representatives Did Not Vote (Please note we do not support anyone who refuses to take a stand).  My feeling is that the following who did not vote supported the regressive bill by their lack of commitment.  Own It.

  1. Larry Bucshon (R) 8th District
  2. Luke Messer (R) 6th District
  3. Todd Rokita (R) 4th District
Save this list and remember it at election time.
